Growing up in Leighton Buzzard with our beautiful countryside, walks, woodland and parks it was only natural we had many pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, stick- insects, fish.... to name a few. My working life started with dogs and cats in Quarantine boarding kennels and being around the animals I adored. Later my career changed, working in the care sector and then off to university studying Nursing, graduating as a qualified nurse in 2006. I worked as an NHS nurse for the 17 years and more recently as a practice nurse in a local GP practice. Covid 19 and lockdown brought many challenges and some hardship & loss I never imagined but it also brought some perspective, A different outlook and our beloved cockapoo! A new journey together of walking, enjoying the outdoors, training, doggy socialising and soon after the gym was dumped, the lead was out and the adventures had taken off, A Dog Walker for family and friends expanded to pet home visits for Cats, Dogs, Chickens, Rabbits, Birds, Reptiles and watering plants/gardens whilst people are working or on holidays and ensuring properties are kept secure and safe and lou lets the dogs out quickly became a successful adventure officially launching in July 2022.

Dog walking - Suited to dogs who may be less confident with other dogs, people, bikes, joggers, scooters or need to be on lead only or who need to improve recall skills - or simply because it’s personal preference to keep it 121.
Solo walks vary between local beauty spots or from your home.
Duo Trio or group socialisation Dog walking - suited to socialised dogs who are confident with other dogs and enjoy socialising. The benefits of friends, interaction and natural instinct of group walking where your dog is walked and exercised with a regular carefully selected in terms of age, energy, personality and gradually bonded group of dogs. Walks include local beauty spots (duo) close to your home or a stimulating session in local private secure fields (socialisation group walks)
pet home visits to let your dogs out, feed, clean up any accidents, garden breaks, cleaning litter trays, bringing small pets in & out of runs, stimulating games and toys, cuddles & fun for any of your small pets.
Daily Holiday visits available including garden and plant watering even without a pet and check blinds curtains and lights - if you have a request just ask, if I can help I will.
Home visits can include a short walk and discounts apply to multiple visits booked.
Limited availability- pet sitting in your own home, can include a few hours/day, night or longer term sit 7pm-7am plus pop in or 24hr services dependent on your pets requirements. . enquire for quotation via email or whatsapp details below.

Hiring and exercising your dog or a group of dogs in a secure field with stimulating games, fun and agility can be arranged at your personal request if availability to accommodate and can be a great option for Dog walking of multiple dogs from same household, young puppies or if your dog needs confidence building off lead and with recall skills. Surcharge towards hire of field may apply if this is not part of a standard group walk.

With hygienic safe procedures my facilities are kept clean, the adapted vehicle is maintained and drinking facilities are fresh and clean daily, I use regular hand gel/washing and shoe covers for entering properties, your keys are kept safely locked away when not in use and I do not store your details with keys.
